Van der Windt a partner in the Horti Alliance
Van der Windt is proud to be a member of the Horti Alliance: a partnership of 19 leading suppliers to the horticulture sector who, on 1 January 2011, began working together so we could provide better service to all our customers. Combining our expertise and experience and sharing it more intensively with our customers will enable Dutch growers to keep abreast of relevant developments in the sector. For growers, the clustering of customer-oriented activities means faster and easier access to information from suppliers regarding developments. This initiative is aimed specifically at all growers of vegetables, fruit, flowers and plants. For Van der Windt the clustering of several activities means we can achieve a result that is both more effective and more cost efficient. And we can also add a communicative boost, which will enhance our image as a progressive company!
The Horti Alliance partners are BVB Substrates, Chrysal International, De Winter Logistics, EBH Elshof Advocaten, Fides, Flier Systems, Flynth Accountants, Frans van Zaal Totaal Techniek, Grodan, Indigo Solutions, Kubo, Leen Huisman, MPS, Nic. Sosef, Philips, Priva, Rijk Zwaan, Svensson, and Van der Windt Verpakking. Each one is a leading company. The management of Horti Alliance is in the hands of Joep Hendricks from gygga innoventures bv.
During 2011 an extensive programme will be offered to a selected part of the Dutch horticulture sector. In seminars and a series of specialised training courses all 19 partners, supported by their prominent networks of experts, will combine their expertise in their own specific professional field into a joint presentation.
The Horti Alliance programme includes:
- 26 and 27 January: Visit to a leading retailer (head office and Distribution Centre) followed by a visit to the IPM trade show in Essen.
- From 7 February: Extensive series of training courses ranging from marketing, sales, finance and law to the provision of emergency help, crop protection and more.
- From March: Seminars and network meetings about business, technical and strategic developments (by invitation only).
