Van der Windt in daily newspaper 'De Telegraaf'
Van der Windt is a pioneer as to Bio-based packaging. Therefore we were asked to contribute to an article in the special edition of 'Science & Innovation' in one of the most prestigieus daily newspapers called 'de Telegraaf'.
"Packaging made from patotoes. A magazine sealed in corn. It sounds futuristic, but in the packaging industry the bio-based economy had long been a reality. Although as far as Van der Windt Verpakkin gBV in Honselersdijk is concerned it's not happening fast enough. 'Many consumers have hardly any idea that packaging can be compostable and can go in with the green waste, says Bio-specialist Huib Burggraaf.
