Van der Windt at Horti Fair 2009 This year's Horti Fair took place in the RAI in Amsterdam from 13 to 17 October and, as always, Van der Windt was there with a stand. Once again a wide selection of our bio-based packaging was also on display in the Good & Green pavilion. This year Van der Windt received an honourable mention for its bio-based packaging from the international professional Horti Fair Innovation Award jury. Many of the visitors to our stand and the Good & Green Pavilion wanted to know more about biodegradable and compostable packaging and packaging made from renewable raw materials. It was not only our bio-based packaging that received considerable attention. There was also a great deal of interest in our flower, plant and herb sleeves, our Phalaenopsis bags, our range of HACCP articles and the so-called ‘Tommies Shakers' which offer an attractive way to present a variety of articles including cherry tomatoes, sliced fruit, mixed salads and smoothies to consumers. Although this year's Horti Fair attracted less visitors than usual our stand was very busy. We were very pleased with the large number of professional visitors from many different countries and delighted to welcome our loyal customers to our stand.
