The range of sustainably-produced packaging is growing explosively. There is a noticeable increase of materials made from renewable raw materials, such as cornstarch or potato starch. Van der Windt offers you, as a customer, an increasing choice of biodegradable packaging. Good examples include PLA magazine film, biodegradable and compostable bio-packaging for the Fruit & Vegetable sector, biodegradable palm fibre dishes, the compostable tulip sleeve, the Enjoy the World range of bio-cups for serving hot and cold drinks and the Biopoop dog poop bags. The recent introduction of the Mondobag, our climate-neutral garbage bag, has taken us another step towards sustainable packaging and we will be introducing more new items during 2011. Bio-products are made from renewable raw materials, which means they put no additional burden on the environment. With Van der Windt you can also be certain that a bio-product really is what it claims to be. Our bio-products are totally naturally biodegradable - up to and including the printing inks. Relevant certification, such as DIN-CERTCO, underlines our determination to operate in accordance with the rules. |
