Logistics: a Van der Windt service that goes far further than simply transporting pallets from A to B. In Honselersdijk Van der Windt has a modern warehouse with a storage of 16,000 pallets at its disposal. Each year the staff, with the help of 10 loading/unloading docks, handle the loads of 5,000 lorries and 750 sea-freight containers. For air and sea freight Van de Windt works in cooperation with renowned forwarding companies. 
All freight movements are registered in an advanced computer system from their arrival at the warehouse until their delivery to the customer. More than 140,000 pallets are transported to around 5,000 customers each year by Van der Windt's own fleet of 22 lorries, all fitted with a GPS tracking system so that they can be followed on-line. In addition to the regular storage and distribution activities Van der Windt also provides added-value services such as product re-packing, processing or sorting, packaging labelling and cross-docking.
