Van der Windt fully endorses MVO-Nederland’s manifest and, as a partner in this network, is looking to find new ideas for making its business operations even more sustainable.

Plant sleeves with a mix of designs in one bundle

Recently Van der Windt delivered the first batch of Taranta™ Pretty Wild concept sleeves to KP Holland. What makes these sleeves special is the fact that not only does each bundle of sleeves include two different printed designs, but also that each sleeve incorporates two different designs – one on the front and one on the back.

Packaging is used as a marketing tool in many sectors, including the ornamental horticulture sector. A few years ago specialist chrysanthemum breeder Fides BV in Maasland developed the ‘Arctic Queen’ variety that is now grown and packaged by several nurseries including Monnikenwaard in Nieuwaal.
